IMG 6652 300x200 Dear Cosmo students and parents,Once again the school parties have come to an end, and the teachers and I wish to thank each one of you for a couple of very nice evenings. It is always a pleasure to meet under more informal circumstances, where we have a chance to talk with each other in a less structured manner.

It is impossible to avoid that a huge project like our school parties with between 800 and 1000 guests each evening will cause some disturbances in our everyday life and daily routines, but I do believe that everything has gone without problems, and that it has been an eventful week for us all to remember.IMG 6842 300x200 Dear Cosmo students and parents,

So thank you very much for your participation and your good spirits.

On behalf of the teachers,

Simon Mosekjær

Outing to Aarhus, Saturday the 4th of July

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

Due to the fact that several students are not able to participate in the trip to Aalborg, it would be very expensive, so we have decided to go to Aarhus Saturday the 4th of July.

We leave from the school at 9.00 and will be back between 16.00 and 17.00.

gamle by 300x224 Outing to Aarhus, Saturday the 4th of July

In Aarhus we will visit the Gamle BY – the old town – which is 5-star world-class experience, and is under the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen. There are 75 historical houses, gardens, exhibitions, houses, shops, and workshops. The museum is a living and breathing experience of what it was like to live and work in a Danish market town, as it was in the old days. Here it is possible to experience a market town at the time of Hans Christian Andersen, where fairytale awaits just around the corner. Meet the people and characters of yesteryear, experience life as it was in their living rooms and kitchens; and smell the flowers right in their own gardens. Try out the old children’s games, or go on an exploration through-out the museums extensive exhibitions. Den Gamle By is also the home of The Danish Poster Museum, which displays interesting exhibitions throughout the year. Also ensure to visit the Danish Museum of Clocks and Watches and Den Gamle By’s large toy museum. Traditional tea garden, historical shops and a large Museum shop.

Afterwards we go to the Dyrepark – the animal resort – south of Aarhus to eat lunch and see some of the animals, which are two kinds of dears and wild dyrepark arhus 300x214 Outing to Aarhus, Saturday the 4th of Julyboar.

The animal resort is close to the beach, and if the weather allows it, we will walk down and play in the sand, but the students are not allowed to bath.

We need to know how many students, who will participate so please let us know as soon as possible.

The students will receive their report card Friday the 3rd of July before they go home.

Best regards,

The cost is approximately 100.00 for transport besides money for lunch.
