Rules of Internet Use
- The computers of the school are intended for teaching, writing assignments, seeking information, mail and other relevant work. Playing, surfing without a purpose on the net and chatting is forbidden unless you have been given permission by your teacher.
- Commercial use of the computers of the school is not allowed.
- Any use of computers and the net, which by school evaluation is either illegal or harmful to the reputation of the school is strictly forbidden. You are in this way not allowed to seek out or print websites that contains material which does not belong in the school. For instance pornography or racial sites. If you coincidentally end on one of these pages you must immediately shut it down.
- It is strictly forbidden to change the set-up of the computers. You are not allowed to download games and other programmes.
- You are to observe good etiquette on the internet. You are not allowed to send anonymous post. Mass delivery of identical letters is forbidden. Other users of the net are not in any way to be bothered.
- You are entirely responsible for your own actions and for the statements you put forward.
- Rules and regulations on publishers’ royalties are to be observed. Here it is especially important to mention that downloading of mp3 files or other types of files are not allowed.
- You are only allowed to log on using your own password and you must always log off or shut down when you are finished. Log out of the network when you leave the machine.
- The computer equipment of the school is to be treated in a way that is not damaging. It is forbidden to eat or drink nearby the computers.
