Going to Dybbøl Historical Centre

Thursday the 22nd of April, we have planned a visit at Dybbøl Historical Centre, where we will be guided through the working exhibition and hear about the two wars in 1848 and 1864 that shifted the balance of power in Europe and changed the relationship between the European Great Powers, reducing Denmark to a miniature state and leading the way for Germany’s unification.

The visit fits perfectly with the curriculum in the 18th Century history for Lower Secondary and IGCSE.

The outing is by bus. The bus leaves from the school at 8.05, and we will be back at school around 14.00. There are no lessons afterwards. At Dybbøl Historical Centre, there is a kiosk, where the students can buy candy and ice cream. Please remember a packed lunch and something to drink.

The price per student is DKK 50.00. The amount is payable Wednesday the 14th of April at the latest.
